Up and running with agenda publishing in hours

Doesn't it take months and lots of development hours to implement a new IT system in a municipality? Not in Kerteminde Municipality, which has just implemented FirstAgenda's CMS-independent publishing solution FirstAgenda Publication in its administration.

The solution gives citizens access to public agendas and minutes on the municipality's website without having to install software at the municipality or integrate with the CMS. 

"The implementation of Publication took only a few hours, and the collaboration with FirstAgenda has been painless. There were no problems in the collaboration between FirstAgenda and the other suppliers, and the solution ran perfectly from day one," says IT consultant Pia R. Rasmussen from Kerteminde.

Publishing in minutes

The solution automatically retrieves agendas and minutes from the municipality's DMS system and the agenda system FirstAgenda Prepare, and citizens can read the attachments for all items. Citizens can also subscribe to individual committees to receive an email when new agendas and minutes are published.

"We have of course had minutes and agendas on the website before, but with FirstAgenda Publication, publishing the documents is done automatically via API without an upload client, which is a huge advantage. It literally only takes a few minutes to publish the documents, and at the same time, the solution has our own design, so it looks much more professional than before," says Pia R. Rasmussen.

Stepping into a new age

Kerteminde follows in the footsteps of Vejle Municipality, Randers Municipality, Struer Municipality, Herlev Municipality, Sorø Municipality, Gladsaxe Municipality and Sønderborg Municipality, who have all used Agenda Publication since 2018. On Funen, there is great satisfaction with the new solution, which has been in operation for a few months.
