Years ago, the employees of The Capital Region of Denmark made their agendas manually in a big Word document. It was a time-consuming process that involved a complete revision of the document if a single item needed a change.
"We make our agendas together in Word back then, but then FirstAgenda Management came by which, the politicians in The Capital Region of Denmark noticed was super smart. However, we needed a system that could show all the meetings from the politicians' iPads, and when FirstAgenda Management integrates with FirstAgenda Prepare seamlessly, it was a quick decision. Management fulfilled all the demands we had and could be implemented within a short deadline", Lene Fredensborg tells, Committee secretary in The Capital Region of Denmark.
Functions and integrations created a fully digital meeting process
The daily work with the meeting planning process has gotten a makeover since FirstAgenda Management, Workzone, and FirstAGenda Prepare has been connected in the region.
"It is simple to create, delete, and recreate meetings in Management, and it only gets better the more colleagues we add to the solution. We have also had meeting templates created through Management so more users can get started fast and book new meetings", Lena Fredensborg says.
"The integrations to several systems are nice to have since we use Workzone and FirstAgenda Prepare and Management is attached to them. I would say that it is a must-have. There is a great flow through the different systems and is almost an entire product suite when they work together", Birger Rytcher Andersen explains, Project Manager at The Capital Region of Denmark.

The development of the solutions follows the Region
The implementation looked very different back then than it does today when the Capital Region of Denmark was one of the first customers using FirstAgenda Management. Back then, it was a customised system developed for few customers. But since then, it has been developed further and is now an independent subscription solution.

"We have a very close cooperation with FirstAgenda, and they made a huge effort to start our workflows. Back then, we tried to squeeze our existing workflows into the solution. It was not the best idea, but we were tied on our end. Now it is time for us to upgrade, and we constantly need to produce new meetings, and the solution is in use all the time", says Lena Fredensborg.
The ongoing cooperation between the Region and FirstAgendas benefits both parties since the Capital Region of Denmark has played a big part in the development of the essential functions that many new customers enjoy. Besides, they have also been first-in-line to get their inputs implemented since they have been loyal to the solution for a long period.
