Accessibility assessment
An accessibility assessment evaluates how easily a digital product, such as a website or app, can be used by everyone - including people with disabilities. The goal is to ensure universal design so that content is accessible for screen readers, keyboard navigation and different screen sizes, optimized for a broad user experience.
Product name: FirstAgenda Prepare
Accessibility assessment last updated: September 6, 2024
The assessment covers the "reading part" of FirstAgenda Prepare. Ongoing accessibility assessments are performed on the rest of FirstAgenda Prepare, and future assessments will include other products.

Status of inaccessible content
We have content that is not universally accessible. We explain what the content is, the reason why we do not comply with the requirements for universal design of ICT and what it means for the user. This is presented in the same order as the requirements of the WCAG 2.1 standard.
Guideline 1.4 Separable
Makes it easier to see and hear content, including separating foreground from background.
-
The text size does not change in Prepare after setting. This can make it difficult for someone with low vision to read the text without a screen reader. A task is currently installing a React component that is expected to fix this issue.
Changes will come during 2025.
-
Documents inside a meeting appear as images because there is an overlay on top of them. This means they can't be read by screen readers and it's difficult to navigate them with the keyboard. A task is currently installing a React component that is expected to solve the problem.
Changes will come during 2025.
-
At 400% zoom, the document content disappears, while the left menu and header become very large. This makes it impossible for the reader to see everything on the page. Work on a solution is ongoing, but there are challenges with elements that become too large at zoom.
-
Line height can be controlled, but not in document view. With the new React component we can change the document size, but we will not be able to change the line spacing.
-
Example: When sharing a comment, it can be difficult for the user to see the content of the document as the modal overlays the document.
In addition, as a screen reader, you cannot close the modal using the keyboard and it becomes unclear how to close the function again. The implementation of a new design in Prepare will solve this issue.
The design will be implemented in 2025.
Guideline 2.1 Accessible via keyboard
All functionalities must be accessible via a keyboard.
-
Keyboard navigation is missing for the following functions: personal notes, share comment and markup. The implementation of a new design in Prepare will solve this issue. The design will be implemented during 2025.
Guideline 2.5 Input methods
Make it easy for users to operate functionality through various inputs in addition to keyboard.
